Dive Sites
The Solitary Islands Marine Park is the largest marine protected area in NSW and also the most unique created by the mixing of the warmer waters from the southern Great Barrier Reef with the cooler temperate waters from the Tasman. This means that we are spoilt for marine flora and fauna that includes an abundance of colourful tropical, sub-tropical, temperate and pelagic fish, curious blue gropers, the loggerhead, green, and hawksbill turtles, rays, pretty nudibranches, giant cuttle fish and yes lots of Nemos as well as dolphins chasing our boat on the way to the dive sites. To top off this myriad marine life we also get manta rays in the summer months and the majestic migrating humpback whales in the winter months who can clearly be heard singing to each other underwater.
Every diver is catered for from shallow reef dives for beginners to deep shark dives for the more experienced. An experienced dive leader is always available on every dive to guarantee you don't miss any of the good stuff and dive computers are rented as standard with all hire equipment at no extra cost.
With 200 twin HP, Water Rat guarantees a fast and smooth ride to the islands.
